Thoughtful care. Responsible precautions.

We continue to follow current public-health guidance and practical infection-control measures to help protect clients, families and caregivers during every in-home visit.

COVID-19

Understanding the illness and responding with care.

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that may cause illness in animals or humans. In humans, several coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

The coronavirus identified in 2019 causes coronavirus disease COVID-19. Because public-health guidance may change over time, Heart 2 Heart Homecare continues to monitor reliable sources and adjust internal precautions when appropriate.

How we are keeping you safe

COVID-19 precautions designed for in-home care.

With COVID-19 information continuing to evolve, we stay informed through guidance from the CDC, the World Health Organization and our local health department. Our goal is to provide high-quality care while maintaining practical safety standards inside every client’s home.

Caregivers are trained in COVID-19 precautions and infection-control practices. This includes daily screening, handwashing, surface sanitation and wearing a mask when required by current guidance, client preference or care conditions.

Daily health screening Caregivers are expected to assess symptoms and report concerns before visits.
Hand hygiene Frequent handwashing and sanitizer use remain essential parts of safe care.
Surface sanitation Frequently touched surfaces are cleaned as part of routine care when appropriate.
Protective equipment Masks and other protective measures are used when required or clinically appropriate.
Person wearing a protective face mask
Care with confidence Your health and safety remain our top priority.
Our care standard

Simple precautions. Consistent follow-through.

Screen Monitor symptoms and communicate concerns before entering a client’s home.
Sanitize Use proper hand hygiene and clean frequently touched areas when needed.
Protect Use masks or other protective equipment based on current circumstances.
Communicate Keep clients and families informed when a safety concern may affect scheduled care.
Reliable information matters

We follow trusted guidance, not guesswork.

Public-health recommendations may change as new information becomes available. Our team reviews guidance from recognized health authorities and updates internal procedures when necessary.

Clients and families are encouraged to tell us about any specific health concerns, household preferences or exposure risks so care can be coordinated appropriately.
